Chlorine Granules for Hot Tubs and Spas

Initial Dose: Add 6 teaspoons per 500 gallons of water.

Each level teaspoon (0.17 oz) provides approximately 1.4 ppm of available chlorine in 500 gallons of water.

Dissolves quickly and completely. Controls algae and kills bacteria.

Usage Instructions:

• For spa and hot tub use, maintain water conditions: pH 7.2-7.8, total alkalinity 60-100 ppm, calcium hardness minimum 200 ppm.
• Test water frequently to maintain these conditions. Do not exceed 150 ppm of cyanuric acid.
• Recommended to drain spas every 30-90 days, more often if heavily used.
• For start-up: Turn on the circulation system, add 6 teaspoons per 500 gallons. Check free available chlorine (FAC); if below 4-5 ppm, add more as needed.
• Re-entry is prohibited when chlorine levels exceed 3 ppm.
